CONNECT THE FUNDAMENTALS

What to practise.

Move between a circuit, its mathematical model and its frequency or time-domain behaviour. Practise network reduction and signal transformations before mixing them with devices or communication systems. State operating regions and conventions explicitly: an assumed transistor region, transform definition or reference polarity can determine the entire solution.

  • Networks and signals
  • Electronic devices
  • Analog and digital circuits
  • Communication systems

These areas help organise revision. Check the official syllabus for complete requirements; older papers follow their own printed instructions.

01 / Understand

Start with a worked question. Trace the reasoning, check units and assumptions, then solve it again without the explanation.

02 / Practise

Work through a subject area and keep notes on the steps you missed. Include general aptitude in your revision.

03 / Simulate

Attempt a complete paper against the clock. Review the answers and marking rules before choosing what to revise next.

Before you start.

Can I study without starting the timer?

Yes. Choose Study to browse questions and worked solutions. Attempt opens the exam workspace; the timer starts after the quiz content is ready.

Which marking rules apply?

Use the instructions on each paper. Question types and penalties vary by year. Historical linked-answer pairs require the first answer to be correct before the second can earn marks. Common-data questions are scored independently.

Are all GATE years and branches available?

The library is growing. Only the papers listed above are published; a branch guide does not mean its full archive is available.
